Maldives Meteorological Service conducted its 8th National Monsoon Forum on 10 May 2023 in L.Fonadhoo. Supported by Regional Multi-Hazard Early Warning System for Asia and Africa ( RIMES), UN-ESCAP with 45 participants including National Disaster Management Authority and L.Atoll island councils, L.Atoll based government offices, NGO’s and individuals representing Agriculture and Fisheries sector as well.
